Announcement! New from Biota - Captive Bred Klein’s Butterflyfish!
🐠

Add a flash of gold to your reef with one of the hardiest and most adaptable butterflyfish out there. The Klein’s Butterflyfish (Chaetodon kleinii) is peaceful, active, and absolutely stunning with its warm yellow body and subtle blue accents.
These beauties are captive bred by Biota, not wild caught, which means they’re already used to aquarium life, eating prepared foods, and handling stress like pros. Plus, choosing captive bred helps protect wild reefs and supports sustainable aquaculture.

What's the caution. What's in danger
When we say “with caution” with regards to fish, we mean their compatibility with reef invertebrates.

Most times these refer to certain corals and some inverts

Typically fleshier corals like brains or meat corals. Sometimes things like trumpets. They've never seen corals in our care but they tend to be curious fish.

I tried a wild caught one many years ago for aiptasia control. He was good at his job, but also liked to control acans. He went back to the fish store. It was a great fish otherwise.

Biota, I do appreciate everything you do and hope to make another with you soon.
