looks to be just a bit ticked.... I would just let it be. It will bounce back. I have broken off tips and branches... they have fallen or got blown to another part of the tank. they have taken hold and grown. They are fairly hardy...providing you have a good environment for them.

That makes me feel a little bit better, hopefully it does come back, i just think i got too much glue on it but idk why it doesnt want to open up and the tips look darker than the rest of the trunk thas why i thought it was bleaching out

I️ got a huge colony from a friend and there was a tiny white spot on it
My fox face then went to town destroying 25% of it
I️ ended up completely fragging it onto a live rock
I️ glued the hell out of all the parts
It’s doing awesome now
I️ fed it every day for a week strait
Moved it to a random moderate flow spot in the tank

This is what it was when I️ got it, it was awesome I️ was ticked at my fox face

I think it needs more light. Unless you are running crazy PAR numbers it shouldn’t be at the bottom.

It's probably the change in parameters more then anything. It depends where it came from. My birds nest is receiving 100 par according to my apogee. Make sure it gets stability, and not too much direct flow.

I dont think its parameters since it was doing fine before it broke from its frag, i think that i put too much glue on the base of it, and it got to the actual trunk, bcuz it got like that AFTER i glued it back on

At the time of the image i had just put that one piece of rock in, its a small piece, the rest of the tank has older rocks full of coraline algae and all types of stuff on them
