Nice. Thanks. That how I run my lights on my cube. I love them that way, anytime you look at the tank the lights are on. On my cube I’ve got Steve’s leds in from 7am-10pm with moonlights at night lol

The whole "black box can't grow anything" or "Chinese black boxes can't grow SPS like T5's, MH's" myth has officially been laid to rest once and for all! Period!

(Of course us black box users have known this for sometime.) Lol

@trido, stunning, simply stunning! Bravo!

Beautiful " black box" tanks everyone! Keep the pictures coming!

As promised. I waited a few days since I have adjusted my lights to where I will be keeping them as well as placed a lot of my new corals. Today I decided to take some top down views of some of my corals...these are Iphone 7 camera photos. Will have better pictures later on when I want to lug out my beast camera lol. But for now here is some stuff for you to chew on. I am keeping my blue channel 100% and whites around 65%. the color of some of the corals are lacking due to the new placement of them. So forgive me for that as well as PE and sand/brown spots on the corals. I had to dust off some of the corals/all of them thanks to my gold head sleeper goby so PE is lacking and sand spots can be seen. Guess I will start to have to take photos in the morning before he wakes up :)

Hey quick question I have 3 black boxes over my 125gal I usually turn the blues to 100 and whites at 25. I have zoanthids and a Torch coral. I’m wondering if that is to high for the softies and even torch.

That depends a lot on where you’ve placed them in the tank ... try too remember these lights have a hot spot in the middle so keep them lowish and maybe a bit too the sides .. your corals will tell you if they are happy .. it’s a long learning curve .. coral placement ..but at those settings you should be fine !!!!

Yeah, but once you brush the dust off 'em, those corals look great!

Thank You! I love montis due to the color and growth forms. Once my new ones grow out I will have some better pics.
