Cycling the tank builds certain types of bacteria to convert ammonia to things less harmful to your tank inhabitants . Live rock contains this bacteria and if you have none you will have ammonia spikes.No not yet going to get some this weekend. What do you mean cycled???

I don't know if you've got enough or not but I wouldn't put any more livestock in your tank until you figure this out . There's lots of videos on you tube about starting a saltwater tank. and dealing with it if it spikes . The cycle should be done before livestock goes in the tank
