Blasto question

First off sorry for the blues being on but I got home after the whites had turned off.
I am looking to understand how these grow. This is a single head I got a month ago. Will it grow a new head or will it split or how does it happen?

It will bud new heads as the skeleton grows similar to a micromussa

You’ll have to excuse the health of this blasto, it fell while I was on vacation. It’s a good example though of where the new heads will show up at.
