That’s what I’m thinking, all fish look great in her system tho! She’s got a vlamingi that’s 10”+.Dang looks weird
She’s had it for a while, would 3” be considered small?I guess it's not to far off but looks skinny and under fed/poor nutrition. When the fish ages it will develop color on the face and around the eyes. Also around the tangs if that's what there called on tail fin. I see them fairly regularly at the lfs. I've had poor success with small naso tangs.
Yes but more likely to be successful with this one than say a fish straight from the ocean. As they go threw alot of crap to get to a lfs. I lost two from the lfs within a week of purchase. She’s had it for a while, would 3” be considered small?
I didn't even think of parasites very possible if the other fish look good. My other thought is if there caught with cyanide which I think is more common than people realize.Definitely looks malnourished. For a fish in captivity would suggest lack of feeding or internal parasites.
Cyanide death would present itself rather quicklynin captivity.cyanide which I think is more common than people realize.
Yea that's what I was thinking so it should be ruled out in this case. Just thinking that is what could be going on with the two I tried.Cyanide death would present itself rather quicklynin captivity.
The time it took a fish to grow a few inches in a tank, you'd be able to rule out cyanide capturing.
Fish is very thing, looks lethargic and very low in color likely due to poor diet and lack of fats and aminos.
