Thank you medications are able to be brought just having to wait 2/3 days for delivery.

I have not done any FW Dips yet.

may local store has a fluke medication and anti bac med I may try tomorrow. If it’s in stock

I see a few things in the video:
The caudal/tail fin may have some erosion?
It is breathing very fast.
I can see the discolored area - remember that as juveniles, this species normal habitat is inside branching coral heads, so they don't get scratched "accidentally", they know how to navigate, so if you see scratches, it is typically from some other cause.
I don't like its swimming behavior, kind of odd, even for this species.

Is it still feeding o.k.?

I think you should consider treating it for flukes.

Thank you for the help. I will go to the store tomorrow to see if there are any fluke medications.
Any tips and tricks ?

I'm not sure what meds you have in the UK. We use Prazipro a lot here in the US. A five minute FW dip can help buy you some time by knocking most of the flukes off.

I’ve done a freshwater dip today and have knocked three of these off. I assume flukes ?

Yes. that is Neobenedenia, a type of fluke. These have sticky eggs that the medication doesn't kill, so they are difficult to get rid of. I prefer using 35 days at half salinity (no invertebrates present of course!). So a specific gravity of 1.012. If you want to treat ich at the same time, you would go to 1.009

Praziquantel can be used with inverts present, but I've often failed to control this species when using prazi. You need three treatments, spaced 9 days apart.

Okay thank you I did purchase this today from my local LFS. Only medication I’ve seen for flukes.

It states it’s not invert safe so I have removed my snails after a little scrub and wash in old tank water in case of any eggs ect (hope that works) and returned them to my display system.

1) will this work ?
2) are my snails safe in my display. I didn’t want to loose them so thought I’d give them the best chance by having a good scrub and wash off before entering the display

Sorry - I don't have much experience with flubendazole.

Scrubbing snails and a good rinse does help remove Neo eggs, but not a 100% thing. It takes just a single egg to start up an infection.

Thank you for your help. The snails may have to be removed if it’s possible to cause damage to the other tank even after a rigorous clean. I’ll let you know my results soon with the blue tang
