I have a 75 gallon tank with a purple tang, coral beauty, mandarin goby, and 2 helfrich firefish. My question is that will the trigger mess with the 2 helfrichs? They are expensive fish and i dont want to lose them. Nothing in my tank seems to bother them and i only have half my tank covered with 1/4" plexi on both sides. If something were to be chasing them around im sure they would go carpet surfing.......

i had a bluethroat in the same tank as my yellow assessor, and he never bothered the little guy. I don't think a bluethroat would mess with the helfrichi's.

The blue throats I've had experience with were modal citizens. Never bothering any of my other fish. The only thing you have to worry about is eventually the blue throat will out grow that tank. I would start with a small one.
