So i recently moved from a place where I had low water pressure to now high... so i have a booster pump laying around.. Its the AWI Typhoon Extreme w\ 2 RO membranes.

I decided to use the Pump after carbon and before membrane to boost the effciency of the unit
- essentially I tapped off the Auto Shut off valve (ASOV) so that that water now goes to the booster pump and then the exit of the booster pump goes into the membrane.

Here is the problem. the unit shuts off when full, but the pump keeps running (goes from 80 psi to 20ish psi, but wont stop completely). I've played with the allen key to try and get it to shut off to no avail... I have to surmise that because the unit is off there is no water pressure to tell the booster to turn off... but how can the unit shutoff without tellin the booster to shut off being that the water has to flow throw the booster as well. Any help will be great

Do you have a pressure switch to tell the booster to shut off once whatever it is you are filling is full? A pump by itself is manual without the pressure switch.
