Smart Buddie vs CDP 8800

Hi everyone
I like to hear from you guys before I make a purchase a new booster pump.

My current RO set up is
spectrapure 90GPD 5 stage
Getting 45 PSI from my pipes
Water ratio is 1:3

Which booster pump would you guys recommend on getting for my setup?

Thank You

Smart buddie comes with high and low pressure switches so its automatic, it auto flushes every time it turns on too.

if you do get it, don't unplug without turning off the input water. mine wouldn't turn on the next time if i do that.

Wow that is great information, I wouldn't know that. Thank you

Their customer service is pretty good too.

i received the pump with a bad power supply that died after one use. They immediately sent out another one, and even included some wire nuts for me when i questioned how i would connect it since i didn't want to solder on an in-warrantee item.

For those who is using it, do I have to remove this flush valve for the smart buddie?

Yes, the unit contains an auto flush valve and restrictor too. you only need the canisters and tubing to connect everything up.

I currently have a aquatek 8800 booster pump. I need a new adjustment screw for it. Anybody know where I can get a new one ? I tried aqutek, no luck.

also,
I currently have a spectra pure 90 gpd 5 stage. Im thinking about putting on one of those bfs upgrades.Question is , can I use a 150gpd membrane instead of a 90? water pressure is at 65psi.
