Hmm.., after the RO membrane would make no sense, that side of the system is as little to no pressure, unless you so-choose to pressurize it (and it will engage the automatic water shutoff valve at 40PSI, anyways!)pressure guage, the 5-stage provides one but I think it is AFTER the RO membrane so you can see if the RO needs to be replaced over time. So you are suggesting putting another before the RO membrane to ensure you don't go too high PSI into the membrane?
If I had to make an educated guess, I’d say this system has the pressure gauge right before The RO membrane, telling you when your carbon or sediment filters are clogging up!
I don’t specifically use the auto flush kit, and haven’t referenced it in a few years to refresh my memory… but, I seem to recall that it addresses startup and stop flushing for you! — though I will say that I regularly forget to do this, and I’ve never seen aTDS spike nearly that wild; maybe 10ppm TDS for the first few seconds before TDS creeps down!Does that make sense? I think I saw one of the videos from BRS or somewhere else suggest same. OR will using the autoflush take care of this?
