Very nice!! What are the dimensions?
Thank you very much @declanisadog it is 83gallons and measures 30"x24"27"high

I made the tank to fit on another stand, but oddly enough when I placed the heavy tank on the previous stand it wasn't stable at all and I was afraid of it tipping over. Due to the instability of the stand I chose to go with T-Slot which I wanted to do anyways, but now I wish I had build a bigger tank! Oh well don't we always wish that.

I am looking at the ECO Fleece roller sump from Royal Exclusiv, so I'll need to save for that so for now, that's what I want to go with my skimmer.

I started skinning the stand, of all the DIY skills I feel painting is the one I need to improve on. Started with 2 side panels to test this gray color out and I like it, so I may stick with it. Build is still slowly moving along!!

So a quick update. We had to move in a very short notice, so put breaks on the build for a little bit. We found a place and now I am starting to get this build up and going again.

A few pictures for the update. When I built my tank, I built the bottom glass on top of acrylic for extra stability so I decided to put leds behind the acrylic, so I think it looks pretty cool at night. You cant really see it during the day, but it almost looks as though its floating.

I want to upgrade to a wifi controller from this apex classic. I have a love hate relationship with the Neptune Apex, mostly I dont like the "Apex Wall" that everyone seems to love. I hate it, as they come out with more products it just means you need a bigger "wall" of modules, so I am looking at getting a GHL controller, but I am still on the fence about it. So at least for now these are my control center plans with my stand alone Maxi

@Txdragonslayer it all looks very nice , I think you already have a lot invested into APEX and I think you might as well ride it out on this tank and maybe upgrade controller on your next tank lol. Either way great work looks great!!! Keep up the great work on your build!

I have really been hit by the LED bug, and have considered buying pretty much ever LED on the market, but I am going to stick to my guns and run this tank with a MH and reef Brites for a year first. I want to upgrade other equipment before replacing lights, if I do.

The light I am using is a modified Ebay light in an ADA style. I installed the Apex lunar leds, I took them out of their little black case, so hoping they work lol

Right now I am looking at the tunze stream 3's I love how quiet they are. I got these rock structures for the pumps, but not sure if I can make them work, we'll see when it's time to aquascape
