Bristle worm? Good or bad?

I would do the research myself, but just brought this guy home as a hitchhiker on some macro. He’s not in aquarium yet and in the essence of time, should I add him or dump him. Thanks.

You’ll get a bunch of different opinions. I personally have many of them in my tank, and I feel they are a great cleanup crew. Some don’t like them.

If it were my tank, I would dump it in (the tank, not the toilet).

When you get your first tank you will fear these guys and try to stop them from getting in your tank at all costs. What I can tell you is unless you have an extensive QT system for all corals before putting them in your tank, then you will ultimately have bristle worms in your tank. They are almost impossible to keep out. Most ppl have them, they are free clean up crew and don’t really hurt anything. But they can multiply rapidly if you feed a lot.

Ooo I have one. He only comes out at night and I have no interest in catching him! Live and let live! Free CUC! Just be careful they sting! I’ve heard no matter how many times they get you it still hurts as much as the first
