so i lost two saddlebacks and a blue tang due to brook or what i believed was brook, i have a rainbow wrasse, fire clown, zebra goby, and yellow watchman goby that seem to have not been affected. Is there any reason why they wouldnt have been effected but the two clowns and tang were? its been weeks since ive lost the clowns and tang and still everything else has been perfectly fine.

Some fish because of their thick mucous coats or strong immune systems become carriers of the disease. Wrasses, gobies and some clowns have been known to become "typhoid Mary's" of the disease and only becoming symptomatic days, weeks, or months later for some unknown reason. Sometimes a stressor event like an injury, etc. sets it off.

You could test to see if they are carrying the disease by using black mollies or treat them for Brook and eradicate the parasites.
