*** Brown jelly ***

I have a Torch I recently purchased. Have it in my Q tank also with a hammer and to rock and flowers. Over a 2 day time frame the torch Completely went inside itself and a brown jelly came over the top of the heads I removed it from the tank. It had a strong fish smell. I Discarded it But now I'm worried about the rock flowers. Can the brown jelly move to them

Possibly. I've had brown jelly on SPS. Light iodine dips go a long ways with this kind of bacterial infection.

Can you please explain the steps to the iodine dip ? I am new to the hobby this is my first problem with tank I guess I am happy it's not in main tank but still I have tried to be so on top of everything I just dont want to make a mistake because I'm a newb

The way I understand it, brown jelly disease is bacterial...
So Furan-2 dips is what you need and it’s what I had success with when I had bjd about a year ago in my acans.
