Brown Sponge??

These were just what looked like brown plant material on dried rock. It has been in my tank for about 2 month, and seems to be growing. Are they possibly sponges, can they come back from being dried out? They are well attached and not moving.

Still hard to see... is it Aiptasia? Looks like it can be that... google image that to see if this is what you're seeing in your tank.
