Hello,

I am using BRS reactors for carbon with the included sicce 1.5 pump. After only a few days the reactor is clogged to where water is barely running through it, the foam pads clog so quickly. Anyone have any tricks to this? I was thinking about setting up a larger pump on them to just push through it.

I also read about swithcing the input and output so the water flows down to push the carbon down and does not require any foam pads.

ThoughtS?

I am using the really big one for GFO and have the same problem. I made a new pad out of a courser foam that was the input strainer for a large pump and only used one I keep the media from leaving the canister.
It will run until the media needs changed now

I am going to hook them up to a bigger DC pump and turn up the power as they clog, also switching the outlet and inlet so the water flows down, hopefully holding the carbon in place.
