Hello all, Currently running a fluval EVO 5 gallon with the 22W fluval sea light. I have 2 clownfish and a few invertebrates that seem happy. Most recent parameters from a Spin test at the local shop, attached imaging. Since then a 25% change has been done. I recently purchased a bubble tip anemone. Ive noticed he is super opened up at night when the lights are off. Mouth is closed. He is latched down in the middle of the tank. He has been in the tank for three days and received a spot feed of mysis well enough. Not the most open guy during the day. Im sure he needs time to adjust and I know the tank is new, coming up on the 3 month mark.

I wanted to see what lighting suggestions there may be to promote the happiest anemone life. I messed with the camera settings on my phone a bit so there is a photos where the center looks off normal color. Anemone is normally green with pink tips. No major visual changes on him noted.

Your anemone is bleached, stressed, and not loving life. Was it like that when you bought it???

Yes. I did not know any better at the time and believed it was “a nice one”. Going to see what I can do to and try to nurse it up to some level of happiness if it can hold out.

Feed often in small amounts. If you are feeding your fish frozen already, just squirt a small amount to it once a day for a week or two. Hopefully it will bounce back. Best of luck.
