Are you sure you had Velvet? Marine Velvet is actually rare, and very, very lethal often killing all fish in a very short period of time, like a day or so. The fact that your Clownfish is still alive has me questioning Velvet. Additionally, Marine Velvet doesn't give the fish that while film coating until very late in the disease. If your Clownfish had what looked like a white mucus coating, it could well have been Brooklynella, which Clownfish are particularly susceptible to, and requires a different treatment than copper (Ruby Reef Rally Pro).

But, to answer your question, this link discusses fallow periods for diseases like Ich:

The fallow period for Velvet is less well understood, but given how lethal Velvet is, I would go longer than shorter for the fallow:

Good luck!

That looks like Brook to me. Is it swimming kind of vertically?

#fishmedic for confirmation

They seems to be swimming normal this is my hospital tank they are in

I don’t see the extreme rapid breathing that is the hallmark of velvet. I also don’t see the stilted swimming motion usually seen with brooklynella. In cases where fish have had ich for a long period, the spots start to run together and more mucus develops, starting to resemble brooklynella.

Early on, when this first started, could you see distinct salt grain like white spots?

And also let me add that whatever this is didn’t start until I added my blue hippo tang after I added the tang it whipped out 2 pj cardinals, 4 clownfish, 1 fire fish, 2 chromies, and 1 damsel I got my new tank yesterday which is a 75 and all I have now is 2 snowflake clownfish but when I added them into the new tank I could tell they have something on them

Yes a few spots but their fins look different. It was so bad my tang was banging itself against the rocks. In my old tank.

The tang had white spots? If so, I’d say this is ich as tangs don’t often get brooklynella (I’ve never seen one get it).

The swimming in the video doesn't seem as "off" as I was expecting, but from your pics I still think that's Brook. If it was Velvet I believe the fish would be dead by the time it developed that white film. Give it a few for the Fish Medic team to confirm, but I would suggest trying to source some Ruby Reef Rally Pro:

I've not used that product, but maybe Jay would know more about it.

you have a serious case of ich. The spots are too defined. Also have seen this level of ich plenty of times on fish. All your fish will be infected sadly. So QT all in 2.25ppm copper power or copper safe for 30 days. Hanna HR copper checker for copper

Secret to ammonia in a QT a cycled PolypLab Genesis rock. You will never have ammonia issues. Only reason for a WC would be to get clean water in the tank being you don’t have much of a filter with a HOB that is mostly used in a QT system.

Fallow DT for 60 days.

Hint about velvet, by the time you see it fish is usually beyond saving if not dying. Also the look that velvet has on most fish is the glazed doughnut look. Not the salt look.

And welcome to the forum! Glad to have you here!
