I just got a bubble anemone and I acclimated him and he seemed to be doing great. That is until I walked away from the tank and came back and he was sucked into the intake filter. I freed him and a few hours later he was sucked up in it again. Its too late to go to the store to get something to keep him safe. I am not sure he is going to live. He keeps turning upside down and not opening up anymore. Someone please help! Will he survive?

Don't let that keep happening! Put it in a bowl that it can't blow out of and put lr rubble or frag plugs at the bottom. Put the bowl in a lower light area. Good luck.

If it's in REALLY bad shape post a pic, you don't want a rotting anemone in your tank

I have him in a little Tupperware bowl with sand in it and close to the glass. To keep him overnight.

Bubble tips attach to rocks not sand which is why xxkenny90xx said to put rubble in container. Has anyone else here ever read to turn your pumps down to give new anemones time to attach without being blown away or am I the only one on here who's read that?

I've never done that since the bowl cuts down the flow just the same but that does make perfect sense

I checked on my fluval filter and was able to adjust the flow. I took the anemone and moved him to where he is next to a rock but still inside the bowl. Hopefully in the morning he will be happier. I was told by the store to put him in sand and that is why I did. I do appreciate all the help everyone has offered. Sorry if I ask a lot of questions. I have had saltwater tanks prior but this is my first attempt at an anemone in my tank. So I am new to all this.
