Good Wednesday morning!
BFFs Jack and Jeeves hanging together. Just another morning.

I think Jeeves just ate my Yellow Cucumber.

Jeeves (red circle) shown fleeing the scene of the crime (yellow circle). Jeeves had been placed there by witness accounts (mine) minutes before. My Yellow Cucumber had been camped out there since the day I placed it in the tank, August 19, 2026. Was last seen at this spot at 22:05 on Oct 16. Jeeves moved, Cucumber is gone. Coincidence?

Very nice! I used to have a 36g bow front in 2012 that I loved and yours brings back fond memories of that tank. I turned it into a seahorse tank at one point.

Thank you! I can see why you loved your Hippo tank. Love those Gorgonians and Pipefish, too. Was that tank hard to keep?

I noticed your Anthias. How did that do in the 36? I'd love to have one, but read they need a larger tank.
At the end of 2011 my mother in law who lived with us had a stroke and became confined to bed. I became her full-time caregiver and I had no previous experience in such things, which necessitated me selling my 90g reef and my 125 FOWLR tank. I didn't want my animals to suffer because I didn't have time to properly care for them. My husband wanted me to still have a tank so told me to choose whatever smaller tank I wanted so I chose the 36g bowfront. I kept some of my fish that were in the 90g, (the anthias being one of them). I did end up rehoming the anthias as I felt that tank was too small for it.
That tank was not real hard to care for but seahorses are special needs fish. And I learned that they are most successful if kept as a species only tank.
