Building a new light from old one

Hi i have an old. Mars aqua 165w. I want to dich the leds. And run 2 new rows of 27........ 3w star's with psbs..... On 2 separate heatsinks. Is this anyway possible at all if it is can someone who nose what thay are doing. Run me throu it please. Any advice welcome

I think it depends on what you want to reuse from the Mars Aqua lights. It sounds like you are planning to remove the existing LEDs, so that basically leaves the drivers, the enclosure, and the knobs. The drivers put out around 90 volts, so 27 LEDs may work.

With the cost of the LEDs, you'd probably be better off replacing the drivers too.
