This is excellent, Jimmy!Moving forward with the feed timers to cut the powerheads and return pump off. The timer will turn the powerheads back on after 5 min. and the return pump on after 10 min. The button will be mounted on my controller cabinet . The button is a normally closed switch that will cycle power to the timers. This my way making things easier for the wife when feeding with out buying any Apex or Hydros controllers. I have about $40 in it

Being that you're into this type of stuff, I am surprised you've never built a reefpi for yourself. Or, maybe you have and I'm not aware of it.
If/when you do, you will want to go to the newest thread about it. There is still a mountain of great info and things one could learn, in the original thread, but much of it has become outdated.not yet
Still messing around with a programmable logic controller (PLC) like what we use to automate were I work at. Its a stand alone and easily goes back online after power interruptions. Trying to get a way to interact across the internet with the controller after a power interruption. The PLC will restart and function normally after the power comes back on. A laptop is used for monitoring and editing programs with it, but going back online with the controller if the laptop powers down is the issue. A battery backup for the laptop would buy time .If/when you do, you will want to go to the newest thread about it. I'm looking forward to seeing that setup.Have decided to install the Orphek Natura iCon light on my 40B tank. I ordered some 40/40 extruded aluminum for the DIY mount. The mount will be attached to the back of the stand.
