O i have a screen top, Im looking for a specific look. Similar to octo lids. frame of acrylic, screen net, some port holes for feeding. Ill probs CNC a few panels. Long term goal of mine :) like we talked.

These, but instead of one piece making 3 separate lids since 1 huge piece is heavy and awk to move.

Vs this is what i have now. Just different, dunno :s not high priority, but wish i did this originally.

I can do them by hand in a couple hours.. I’d guess faster than a cnc if I wanted lol… I’ve made hundreds it’s easy! Table saw to size and put a put a guide on your hand router and set the depth to 3/16” and run around it for the mesh.. set the guide in another half inch and cut it out. Easy peesy! Obviously a plunge bit “no bearing”

Speaking of lids why doesn't some one make one that has different punchouts so you can customize one for a sump? Kind of like eggcrate but solid? I guess no need for one. It's hard to cut acrylic to fit and I get evaporation from eggcrate.

There's less money if they make adaptable lids. They're no longer "custom".

I am actually pretty excited about the back piece being black over my ato chamber and overflow chamber - I just assumed it would be clear. Looks nice in the photo though, hope it fits....

I'm not worried about it because this tank is going to be the seahorse tank and not have very many light demanding things in it.
