Found her earlier, disappeared again. But the rocks are definitely cleaning up.

Current problem : peninsula runs through klir too quickly - do I get a bigger roller system, do I try to rely on socks (ew), do I get a 2nd klir and link them?

I'm terrible at sock maintenance. Tank is hazy already :rolleyes: That's what I'll be dealing with today.

IDK if it's because he hasn't been out and about for quite some time - but I feel like the dusky has grown significantly during hiding...

Also, I think the stripey is way bigger than he was a month ago.

Apparently I put my fish on steroids.

Ordered some media, dug out some filtercups - going to try going that route again instead of socks, I think?

Maybe, that tracks... I'll have to see if I can figure out which rock he's camouflaged into today.

So, I had the same issue with the Klir and burned through close to 12 rolls until I figured it out. No a roll lasts me close to a month.

Make sure the sensor is far enough away from any potential splashes or droplets and be sure to keep it clean. Once you find the right spot, it works like a charm.

For note, I use the Klir gen 2 7DI

Yeah I have one on the cube as well without issue... And ran one it on the 1200 cade I used to have. This is my first 2nd Gen though. I changed the spot with the 2nd roll because the first was gone way too fast and was mostly clean :expressionless-face: this one lasted longer - but not as long as I'd like. I also have 4 filter holes. So, one is capped presently, 2 socked, and one rolled.

I found cups and am moving where the cap is with the new roll to see if I can get a better system going.

I only have have 2 holes (giggity). One rolled, amd one capped with a sock under it. I'll make a video later to show the setup. It took a long time fiddling with it to get it to run smoothly. My fingers are crossed that you get yours working properly. It is a great little gadget once it is dialed in.

That's how I ran it on the system that wasn't quite as big as this one. That one only had two holes as well.

I definitely got longer use with it round two than I did round one, so progress. I just have to continue tweaking

Meanwhile it runs like 4 months per roll on the cube.

I'm worried that the flow rate is part of the problem, this has four 4-in holes, I wish they were 7 instead but oh well
