I’m super late to this but I have the older version and I really like it. The lack of controller is pretty neat so will probably get that one for the 70 eventually.

I got everything done Wednesday except lid and light.

Claws:

We're getting ready to head to brunch, then planning on at minimum doing lid design (I need to figure out where I want the plank cutout to go still).

Hopefully I feel motivated enough to try light bracket testing, I'm a little nervous about it but I definitely need to get it finished - that's the biggest peninsula setup hold.

Received my oxydator for the peninsula and a mini for the pico this week. Will get the pico one setup today. Photos of things maybe??

The pico minimaxis are brightening back up happily now that they're settling in with the old light. I haven't moved the tube nem over yet but I still plan to, it won't be able to stay with the ponies once they're in so it's going to need to move to one of the other 2 tanks anyway.

Decided we're not moving the tank closer to the wall. There's about 3 in or so which gives us space to play if I need to get back there for some crazy reason. Should also help prevent wall splashing from crazy fish.
