After months of slump - I think it's safe to say I'm starting to be excited about the tanks again. Ponies finally coming soon, peninsula finally up and running - corals coming soon for that. All the fish over there are starting to be responsive to me whenever I approach. Stripey finally forgave me for catching him and moving him.
My oxydator in the cube is messed up though  once again it dumped everything overnight (last week), this time I triple verified the cap was twisted fully and it absolutely was. IDK if there's a crack somewhere in the casing or what. I am pulling it today and doing a full inspection of it, but I'm afraid to use it again at this point. Didn't have issues with it for years, I've had this one since the 1200S2. Leathers got all grumpy again, toadstool is just starting to show polyps again today. All the xenia and anthelia shriveled up (but thankfully did not die). Gorgs could care less, giant cabbage could care less, sponges have no concerns.
Goals for today are glass cleaning, looking into some saltwater mollies for algae control in the cube to go w/ the ponies, sorting out the oxydator situation, sump tidiness in all tanks.
