I'm a sucker for Maroons. The Maroon I had kept to herself in her anenome. Great fish she was.

I have a maroon it’s pretty but it moves more sand then my engineer goby and bites my Foxface for no reason

Scarlet is actually a really chill fish. Little Guy (her male) attacks the crap out of the scraper! But thats all he is aggressive withThanks! I love her and her attitude.

Had a pair in the 90s. Female obtained first then later a smaller male. Assumed larger the female but no clue. They bonded immediately and neither ever harassed the other inhabitants in what to day would raise eye brows as to number of fish in a 29g by the tang police. All got along until months later female picked on and killed the late arrival. Don't know what happened as there were no new additions and nothing ever changed including their water.
Often wonder if a batch purchased from the same hatch would I then be able to keep a small group in a 60-90 cube with a large red carpet capable of hosting all. Never seen or herd of them living in groups as regular clowns often do but curious if it would work. Maroon harem tank :thinking-face:
