Calmwaters First Saltwater Build

That's out of my wheel house. I'm a "let it ride and find out" type of guy on a lot of things. That's why the GHA fiasco hurt my tank so much.
Plus, you need to determine what it actually is. Each issue has its own treatment. If ur LFS has a microscope, they can let u know.

But I do agree with Tim, doesn’t look like GHA

Ok I think nitrates are Ok it's so hard to tell with the colors...

You should test all parameters- anyone trying to help, including LFS will ask that first

I will do that if it gets much worse than what it is now. I'm hoping my urchin eats enough to keep it from getting to be too much.
Urchin won’t eat long stuff. They like it short.

My LFS is tiny and doesn't have anything like that.

Amanda, I think it may just be cyano. Especially after what you said about food. Probably need more flow. That's a big tank.
I'm going to add more flow as soon as I can. Here is a better picture of it but sure if it will help.

She (not sure if it's a she) has done a pretty good job on the area she's been cruising around on the last couple of days.

The neon cleaner goby likes to lay on it maybe it's like a soft bed to it?

Just a part of the ugly stage I believe.

And a few more random tank pictures from tonight. I think the leather coral is looking a little more perky for a lack of a better word.
