Can I filter watched forums?

When I mark a forum to watch, can I apply certain filters to it? For example I would like to receive notifications on dry good sales, but only in certain states. I can't seem to figure it out

Not to my knowledge. I believe you can only watch (or not watch) a thread or forum in totality. I'm not aware of any filtering abilities. Let's see what others have to say.
