I got this candy cane about two weeks ago and the bottom part is starting to turn white and slowly moving up. Why is this happening and how can I stop it?

What are considered low nutrients? I feed the corals reef roids. @Hemmdog
Like your nitrate and phosphate levels. Yea your alk is high for low nutrient, that would explain it. What salt are you using?

I think I looks ok to. I have a nice colony that I had higher in my tank. I dropped it down and it really took off. See how it reacts to light and flow and slowly move if it doesn’t look happy

I like to broadcast nano brine, their gut turns orange. Efficient little feeders.

twice a week I feed my tank live freshly hatched brine shrimp and turn off the pump for an hour.
