Hello all,
I have been having a very tough time Keeping acros since my tank upgrade. All my acros do fine for about two weeks then, they slow lose all the tissue from the bottom up while still displaying polyp extension. All my test via the Salfiert test kits are with acceptable range. I have a doser on the tank using the balling method from Tropic Marin. I use TMP salt. I have a 5 stage RO/DI that has 001 DTS. I sent my water to be tested at AWD. Results below:
Reef Tank - 24 of 50 *

12-28-2015 Iron (Fe) NA NA 0.000 - 0.010 mg/L
System:
Montis and digis are growing with a visible growth edge but, almost no acro shows growth. LPS seem fine as well.
I really looked hard at everything and I cant figure out whats going on. I've kept a successful SPS tank in the past and I am doing everything the same way with poor results. Things also seem to get worse with a water change.
I began dosing NO3 via stumpkiller to get my nitrates up but, I dont think they are that low as is.
I have been trying to trace where my tank started to go wrong and it may have been around the time I started using a booster pump on my RO/DI. I'm wondering if one of the lines is improperly connected. But, I would think that would affect TDS?
I need help. Im pouring money into my tank and killing sticks left and right. I have three orders being held for me now that I may have to re-home if I cant get this figured out.
