Started my tank with 60# last year. This is what it has looked like ever since. Is it the sand? Some days are worse than others. Everything's original from the start of my tank. Dose nothing but BRS 2part. Parameters are consistent and stable. NO3=0.2 and PO4 undetectable via Salifert.

You've got some silica coming in from somewhere(more than likely ro/di). At least, in my systems and water supply, that's where it came from. I have to be selective of the di resin I use, our I may have a small issue. I also began running a small amount of phosguard in my gfo reactor for it's silicate absorption.

It's not the normal nitrate and phosphate issue at play for me, if/when I see this. That's my suggestion..

Brand new filters and membrane, replace DI resin regularly. TDS out of tap is 164, before resin is 16 after is 0.
More likely its the Reef Crystals.
I guess I don't understand why you asked then if it was the sand? Or what the cause was if you already knew the answer...

Lol, simple fix for that though, switch salts..
