The thing is that there are many things in that magnetic sand that can have negative effects.

In my case, all of my anemones would stay closed up. Only after sending out a water test, did I find out that I had super high readings of Vanadium, a metal found in the Earth’s crust. Normal readings are something like 0-10 ppm and mine came back at 9,0000!

I will not ever go the route of black sand again.

Just to clarify, those presumably are ppb, not ppm? The elevated value was 9,000 ppb, not 90000 ppm. :)

Which company gave that result?

You’re probably right. It’s been a bit since going through that and it’s all a bit fuzzy now. And I haven’t had my coffee yet so there’s that. ☕

I want to say that it was an ICP test.
