That’s about how long I’ve been using Red Sea A+B. It’s really made a huge difference imo. Glad someone else noticed and it wasn’t just all in my head!

here’s an example...these nirvanas went into the tank looking ROUGH, but colored right up and started growing.

That’s an amazing difference! How far apart are those pictures?
Now I’m really excited to see how my tank does with it

February 27th is the first pic from the earlier post. Here’s one from March 22nd. You can see they colored up first before the growth took off, but once new heads started growing they exploded!

And then on April 1:

Thank you!! That is the best picture of one I have ever seen, no one has a colony that big! I have honestly not gotten a ton of growth from the hydnophora, it’s been really slow for me. I’ve had it in a couple different spots and flow, (ultimately too much flow and damaged it) but it is tough as nails. Unfortunately you are correct - it’s an ornery old *******! It got too large and after a slight flow change managed to fry half of my JF burning banana, was the last straw for me. I moved it to the back where the flow would suck any stingers towards the overflow. Of course, 2 days later it got knocked over by either a snail or my urchin, and I woke up to see my birdsnest frag getting torched...

Dang it did torch those corals. Burning banana is a great coloration too!!! I keep mine high flow and light cuz I didn't know what I had when I got it lol. Just threw it in and its taken off. I need to frag it, its getting a bit big. I started reef roids like you said a few months ago (only been doing it 2 weeks) ill see how it does.

Mine has been in the tank since my very first round of coral purchases! Consequently, it went through hell as I was figuring out how to keep sw. Seemingly impervious, except recently when it was getting blasted by my powerhead. How long have you had that colony?

this pic is what it looked like before I “fragged“ it (accidentally broke off the main trunk) when I moved it.

When I got it, it had already encrusted on the rock a big flat mat piece all the stalks and branches have grown from nubs. Probably 7 months now.
Wow, I have other sps growing like that, but I introduced them much later. Wonder if that’s why? My teal Stylo (started from a tiny frag) has actually grown out of the water ;Hilarious

That contrast is awesome. Love the teal color. You have great coloration in your tank
Same! And it grows FAST, I’m going to let it take over the left side. Also going to add one of these to the bunch if the world ever stops ending.
