How does one cat proof wires?

I put my dosing lines in wire harness covers. Its the black plastic with ridges you can get at NAPA or it will come up on Amazon if you search for it. Can do the same for wires.

I have two cats. One could couldn't care less about the tank. The other used to get up on the rim and watch from up there. She stopped doing that after she slipped and fell in.
