Chaeto with Reef mat

I have a Red Sea 650 max s. Looking to add the reef mat 1200. Question. I see it goes in the center sump. That’s where I have my chaeto. Any idea where else I can put chaeto or reef mat. Sumps is just not that big. I do have protein skimmer on left in sump. That’s the largest opening in sump. Would love to put both in there just can’t fit. Was wondering if I put chaeto where overflow down pipes are just small area. Any one run both chaeto and mat

Can you hang the reefmat or put it on a stand? I have a reefmat 500 in my reefer 300 sump and chaeto and rock rubble are in the same chamber and reefmat works just fine.
