I feed my blue throat trigger clams a couple times a week, and remove the shells at the end of the week. I noticed one day after feeding, that my rock anemone was mostly closed with something white hanging out. I realized that the shell that I just threw into the tank was gone. I grabbed my tweezers and tried to grab the shell without hurting the anemone. The anemone didn't want to let go, so I just ripped it away from it. It was fine, but I was curious, would it try to eat the entire shell or just getting some clam meat from it?
