I am working on a Ultra Low Maintenance Reef tank project. It's going to be built with 'the works' (Apex, Trident, DOS, Tinze ATO, auto-water-change, Ecotech MP40QD, MarinePure Bio, Tunze 9001 skimmer, RODI feed). I'll be posting the build out soon once I get my gear.

Seems like if you wanted low maintenance a sump would be easier to clean when it fills with detritus

I had one a long time ago. They are very nice looking and solid tanks. I just couldn’t deal with the scratches.
I'm a bit worried about the scratches the more I read. Was it just regular maintenance that caused the scratches? Recommendations any quality tools for cleaning?

I'm able to fit my hand into all of the compartments what seems pretty easily. There is the one for the heater that will need a brush.

I have a 20 gallon. Very clear, a peninsula. Low distortion.
Scratches are a concern. Microfiber rags, special mag cleaners. Or magic eraser.
Plan on polishing out some scratches.
