Clove polyps control?

So recently I purchased a frag of fireworks clove polyps.

is it possible to “control” their spread by placing them between more aggressive corals such as chalice.

unfortunately I don’t have another “island” rock to put mine on.

Nope. Other than "pruning" them and relegating to an island, they're voracious spreaders...

Yes- Set a barrier with superglue or scrub with toothbush. Tuxedo urchins will also munch on them

Can they not grow over super glue?

Not a bad idea. I thought about doing that with gsp before but never clove polyps. I need to make sure none of my rock work is touching glass first

As they sweep across, they will not adhere to the glue surface. Gel superglue is best
