Just got these which allow for a better view of the injury(?). Any ideas what could’ve caused it?
I’m not sure what’s going on here, the fish seems very swollen. That could be edema from organ failure:

She doesn’t look to be getting worse, so we’re being optimistic for now - it’s much better than the alternative.

I’ll update here with any status changes. Thank you for all of your advice.

She’s looking much better today. She is still quite timid (compared to normal), and isn’t eating as aggressively as she normally would, but we really encouraged by her improvement. She’ll stay in the treatment tank for the next few days so we can keep a close eye on her (water parameters are looking good).
