Hello so my Blackstorm Clown has been laying on the sand bed at the same spot most of the time throughout the day. The female has been pretty aggressive to him and he does the vibrating thing to show submission. I’ve had them for a little over 2 weeks so I assume they’re still in the process of pairing the water parameters are fine. what could it be?
Maturity of tank is a little over 3 months
Nitrate 12.8
Alkalinity 9.4
Phosphate 0.04
Magnesium 1305
Calcium 574
Temp 78 degrees
Salinity 1.024 SG

If you’re seeing the female going after the male, it sounds like the result of aggressive behavior to me. I’d keep an eye on it and look out for torn fins, loss of appetite, etc..
