Has anyone tried coffee filter bags like these to hold filter media like charcoal?

I like the idea of it being biodegradable. Any fears of it having something that would be toxic?

Why do you think it is bio degradable?
Material looks to be nylon.
If it is biodegradable, id be concerned about disintegration in the tank.

Lifetime plastic carbon reactor. Over shipping these to your house many times.

Certainly up to you. But trying to help make a decision.
