Absolutely, i hope you do too!1 is now 4 hopefully I can still stay in the competition? I wasnt gonna win but I never had one last through the whole year before and I was so close!![]()
Every other month or so. Test every week. Im doing the Moonshiners method so few water changes needed. I think it may have been a fish that nipped at it possibly.Ever do ICP test ?

I just hope this gets sorted out for you.
I just had one of my millis do the same thing for no reason. Frustrating.Your goodI just hope this gets sorted out for you.
Like I said my go to is always a water change right away when this happens. Is that the right choice who knows.
Ive had saltwater tanks for more than 20 years and I still get slapped down and humbled every now and then.
Shockwave did the same to me. Took about a month. I clipped a branch and put on a frag plug. So far it’s hanging on.I just had one of my millis do the same thing for no reason. Frustrating.
Very nice!
I'm having to move it down 1/2"-1" every month to keep it from growing out of the water! Very fast grower!
Wow that is such a weird growth pattern! Not trying to poke or prod, but I'm genuinely curious as to the potential reason. The monti and other acro look like they are very happy, but the colliderscope is way different!
I agree it’s the only acro growing abnormaly. It is in pretty high light and flow. Also I’ve been super lazy on testing and just found my alk to be at 5.3 so that could be part of itWow that is such a weird growth pattern! Wow that’s looking great. You got it seriously taking off!
Dang yeah that is wild. I’d say the jerks gone dormant on you. Super weird. Although one of the interesting facets of these contests. Watching the same coral do dramatically different things in different systems is remarkable unfortunately in this guys case not for the better.
No other corals acting like this guy. I did mount it on a piece of small rock maybe I’ll try moving it to a different part of the tank and see what happensDang yeah that is wild. Anything else doing anything remotely like this?
