Absolutely, i hope you do too!
Judges, what is the ruling about reassembly? Technically this is all from the same initial frag, would just be a little rearranged and grafted.
You can repair broken sps limbs with a little superglue. The thinner it is the quicker they can overgrow it, but too thin and they come apart. You could do this with 2 plugs or just the disk from the old plug and a new bigger frag disk. Glue all the branches next to the encrusted disk in the bigger circle and they will all encrust together and get you back in action much quicker. Assuming that you get the root cause of this issue sorted out first. My go to is always to check my fresh salt mix and do a couple bigger water changes.

Your good 👍 I just hope this gets sorted out for you.

Like I said my go to is always a water change right away when this happens. Is that the right choice who knows. 🤷‍♂️
Ive had saltwater tanks for more than 20 years and I still get slapped down and humbled every now and then.

I just had one of my millis do the same thing for no reason. Frustrating.

Wow that is such a weird growth pattern! Not trying to poke or prod, but I'm genuinely curious as to the potential reason. The monti and other acro look like they are very happy, but the colliderscope is way different!

I agree it’s the only acro growing abnormaly. It is in pretty high light and flow. Also I’ve been super lazy on testing and just found my alk to be at 5.3 so that could be part of it

Dang yeah that is wild. I’d say the jerks gone dormant on you. Super weird. Although one of the interesting facets of these contests. Watching the same coral do dramatically different things in different systems is remarkable unfortunately in this guys case not for the better.

Anything else doing anything remotely like this?

No other corals acting like this guy. I did mount it on a piece of small rock maybe I’ll try moving it to a different part of the tank and see what happens
