Copper Question

I am considering using my municipal water for top up. Nitrates and Phosphates negligible but there is detectable copper of about 0.10 ppm or less. Can deal with normal chlorination by premixing with Prime, but ...
1.can I treat this low level copper with a premixing approach.
2. do I need to..?. I have mixed corals and a clam....realise the fish wont care.

Just realize that the copper stays when more water evaporates, so it will accumulate to higher levels. Also won't know how much other metals are present.. unless maybe you do an ICP on the tap water. But then if something about the water changes- different supply, seasonal changes, etc you wont necessarily know.

I think there's too much variability on top of a known problem (copper) to be worth it. Why don't you want to just setup am rodi?

Copper is from your own pipes, so varies tremendously house to house.

IMO, 0.1 ppm is likely too much.
