Hey everyone,

My toadstools have been in this repeated shedding stage where they open not all the way for about a day, and then go back to being closed up for 1-2 weeks. It’s been like this for a few weeks now. Anyways, I read threads of people saying to increase flow in the tank for the toadstools to expel what they need too. My question is how long do corals take to adjust to increased flow in the tank. I increased it 2 or 3 days ago and haven’t seen an improvement so far. If you guys think it could be anything else on why they’re not opening please let me know. Thanks a lot!

DO YOU USE A PAR METER WHEN PLACING NEW CORAL IN YOUR TANK?

  • Yes! I think it's important for the longterm health/growth of my coral.
