Ok, I’ve given it two years to grow. It is growing in a plating fashion around the base of the acro. It started from nothing, barely a polyp I thought was bacterial film. I thought it was pocillapora but I’ve never seen plating poci and the blue coral I’m showing is a pocillapora in my tank so you can see the difference in the polyps(3rd pic). These polyps end in small balls like torch tips (bottom pic). I tried to get a better closeup but you get the gist. It’s a beautiful coral and it’s achieved a balance with the acro. Any pros that can give me an id?
