This was sold to me as an indophyllia but it looks more like a cynarina to me. What are your thoughts. It is red but it looks orange in the picture

Indophyllia macassarensis was moved to Cynarina ~2016, rendering Indophyllia a fossil-only genus.

Whether it is macassarensis or regular Cynarina, one would need to see the skeleton to confirm. Macassarensis has arguably not been recorded outside its original description, and it is unconfirmed whether the hobby "Indophyllia" is actually macassarensis. Yours does look like the hobby "Indophyllia", although the coloration is more common of Cynarina

If it helps, I have noticed that is has these metallic or clear stripes running across it like a scolymia has colored stripes, although these stripes are much thinner, and it's skeleton is similar looking to a scolymia.
