gotta say, this has worked miracles for a couple of gonis i have been struggling with…

it’s not 100%,
i would say my success rate has been around 85%
but that’s infinitely better than no percentage of a chance at revival/survival

this is an excellent product to keep on hand in the reef med cabinet along with antibiotics, iodine, etc

At the beginning, I start with half the dosage once a week. After one or two weeks, I increase it to 1 drop per 30 gallons, twice a week.

I purchased a bottle of CIE and divided it into 12 doses of 1.75 spoonfuls of product. This should allow for 3 four day dipping sessions, 10-15 minute each dip. I will control the concentration by adjusting the amount of water each dose is added to. I put the product into small plastic vials. I added a small packet of silica desiccant to each vail. Everything is then put into a ziplock bag then into a freezer. I had this stuff laying around since this is what I use to store pollen for my Dragonfruit plants during the growing season.

None of my softies need to get dipped currently but if you collect enough euphylia every once in a while a specimen will go south. Next time that happens I will try out this dip which is a lot less labor intensive than compounding the KFC dip and putting things through a 12+ hours of tip in a separate tank with heat and flow. I have done that multiple times in the past and hope to avoid doing it again in the future.

Worked miracles on my Scolys however I haven't had luck with Torchs. 2nd dip ASD, CareBears, RTiger. I know I need to turkey bast the dead or bjd around but how hard should I be blasting? Enough to get it cleaned as possible?

Not so hard. It’s detaching at that point or wants to. Gentle basting is recommended from my experience.

For torches, I’ve had best luck with hydrogen peroxide, cipro and iodine dips. I do this once a day for a few days until you see the polyps open up in the morning.

I have a 75g tank with roughly 80g of water factoring for rock and sand and sump

I took a 16oz cup of tank water from display, added 3 scoops and stirred

Removed chemi pure. Skimmer is off.

Poured the mixture in front of a mp40 power head. Half the cup on each side of the tank.

Repeated 3 or 4 days in a row.

Did not do water change.

48 hours After last treatment, I put the chemipure pouches back in my sump media trays.

Nothing further done

Just want to confirm you dosed whole tank treatments consecutive days? I thought the instructions said wait 3-5 days between treatment?

Does anyone have any experience with sps treatment’s using this product?

What are you trying to achieve with SPS? May not hurt to experiment but I doubt it does anything given the marketing and feedback o date which focuses on LPS and softies.

Dosed whole tank consecutive days. Have sps snd no issues. It’s not a medicine it’s more like aminos, vitamins, and rna.

I actually used this last year myself and had pretty solid results with it, especially for dealing with some random coral infection issues when nothing else seemed to work.

After that, Joker Corals stopped carrying it, and I spent a long time trying to track it down again with no luck — honestly thought it was gone for good until now.

Looks like the distribution has now moved over to AquanovaUSA and it’s back on the market again.

Figured I’d share since I know some people have been asking about it over the years.

Thanks for adding this. Ive been looking everywhere for it. Its been the only thing ai can use medication wise to keep my shrooms and scolys to come back. I still havent been able to save a torch with it yet.

I’ve actually been dealing with some coral issues recently and it’s been pretty frustrating.
I came across this thread today by chance and ended up going through a lot of your previous posts about CIE.
Your experience and updates were honestly really helpful, I appreciate you taking the time to share all that.
I think I’m gonna give it a shot and see how it goes.

I'd like to share my feedback. Some of my newly purchased torch corals arrived in poor condition due to shipping delays. After using this dip for a week, they have completely recovered and look healthy again. Very impressed with the results, thanks for everyone
